The Secretary of State presents the Ecological Transition Award to Norske Skog Golbey
On 17 January, French Secretary of State in charge of the biodiversity issues at the Ministry of Ecological Transition, ms. Bérangère Abba, presented Managing Director Yves Bailly at Norske Skog Golbey with the Ecological Transition Award from Choose France.

"Norske Skog Golbey can be proud of being a model of green transition", stated Ms. Abba, Secretary of State in charge of the biodiversity issues.
After the official welcome ceremony in front of Norske Skog Golbey's offices, organised in the presence of local politicians, ms. Abba got a quick tour of the mill. She was very interested in Norske Skog Golbey's circular economy model and the BOX project, and was impressed by the mill's ability to recycle more than two thirds of the paper sorted in France.

After the mill tour, the Secretary of State joined the local politicians and the journalists for a presentation of Norske Skog Golbey and of the Ecopark project, supported by the Épinal urban community and its President, Michel Heinrich.
During her speech, Ms. Bérangère Abba congratulated Norske Skog Golbey for being "a perfect example of how local anchoring of a project makes it robust". She also described Norske Skog Golbey's diversification project as a "mature and well thought-out project with concrete and measurable results".
She concluded by saying that the Choose France Award was the State's way of "recognising, appreciating and congratulating" Norske Skog Golbey for its economic dynamics which finds its strengths in its circular economy model. Then, she handed over the Choose France Trophy to the Norske Skog Golbey CEO, Yves Bailly, and concluded that "the company could be proud of being a model of green transition".
